IOSD-MAIT welcomes you to Neural Network Nexus to showcase your skills in Machine Learning. Here your team will be given a challenge to solve a real-world problem in a limited time using Machine Learning. You'll analyse the data and calculate the remaining life of Jet Turbines by finding the fault in the engine, which will help in improving the life of turbines by focusing on important parameters.

Rules

General Guidelines

  • Registration is to be done by Team Leader in case a team of 2-4 members are participating otherwise individual participant details are required.
  • Team size can be of maximum 4 members.
  • This is a one day event. Event will start at 11AM and teams/participants can continue to code till 4PM in the college campus, but the submissions can be accepted till 8PM.

Assessment Guidelines

  • Assessment will be based on the accuracy of the model, how clean your code is, how EDA is performed and most importantly how your model reacts to raw data given by a user directly.
  • Participants/teams can continue to code till 4PM in the college campus, but the submissions can be accepted till 10PM.
  • Submission of their project will be done through GitHub. Team leaders will have to provide a link to their project's GitHub repository for the final submission.
  • Final submission repository at GitHub needs to have these mandatory files:
    • Pickle/Joblib/H5 or any file of the model.
    • An inference script to test the model on raw data.
    • Readme.md file containing details of the team members in case of team or the individual’s details if individual participation.
  • Provide the link of your GitHub repository to the given e-mail id – vg.varungambhir01@gmail.com
    (Note: Team leaders/Participants should send the submission mail using the e-mail id that they had used to register for the event)

General Rules

  • Inter-college teams/participants are allowed
  • It's mandatory for each participant to carry a College ID card for the competition.
  • All decisions in matters of eligibility, authenticity & marking made by the judges shall be final and binding.
  • Any attempts at malpractice and/or plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
  • All the event-specific rules and guidelines will be conveyed before the event.
  • Organizers reserve the right to change, modify or postpone any aspect of the event without prior notice. In case of any dispute, the decision of the organizers shall be final and binding
  • Teams/participants failing to adhere to the deadlines will be disqualified
  • All the participants have to reach the venue 15 min before the time.
  • Each round will be an eliminatory round
